The Democratic establishment is often derided by political pundits as a special interest group without a specific intent. In reality, however, it is far from this. The Democratic Party is actually one of the two primary contemporary regulating parties in the country, with its other primary historic rival, the Republican Party, having been founded about 18 28 by supporters of Andrew Jackson Neal Kwatra. Jackson was a popular hero one of the southern slave owners and former slaves that were politically and socially strong. Today's Democratic Party has evolved over the years, taking on many different forms and personalities to appeal to a vast array of voters.
The most Prominent figures include Senator Hillary Clinton, President Bill Clinton, Vice-president Al Gore, First Lady Hillary Clinton and Senator John Edwards. All have had to deal with the pressures of mounting diagnoses along with other political challenges. We've found themselves fighting for their political futures. Hillary Clinton's recent statements that she would seek the Democratic nomination to the presidential race against Senator Obama has generated an intriguing debate over the Democratic Party ranks. Some notable Democrats have publicly criticized her, warning that the nomination will hand the election to the Republicans.
A recent editorial from the New York Times questioned the validity of Senator Hillary Clinton as a Democatic Party nominee, on account of the very long span she has served in the Senate. The editorial board asked if she was prepared to drop out once the nomination is secured. One prominent Democratic reported that when Hillary Clinton is nominated by the Democrats, it will be a slap on the overall election. This is bad for the Democrats and the country. The editorial board indicated that the next president should be a Democrat since the two party system enables a fair and transparent procedure of picking the leader of the USA.
Some political pundits have painted the democratic institution as a group of self-interest, asserting that the public doesn't trust the celebration in Washington with their future. They point to the high number of lobbyists and special interest groups which are part of the Democratic institution. Neoliberalservatives, relatives, reformers and moderates all agree on one thing: the machine is broken and needs to be fixed. As in any political contest, there are competing interests and there's room for negotiation. In cases like this the Democratic establishment has been too lax on regulating Wall Street and has not raised the issues of trade deals with China and other nations which affect the American market.
An important question is what exactly does the Democratic establishment fear? The democratic wing of the Democratic Party claims it is protecting the middle class and working class. But at exactly the exact same time it is guaranteeing free college tuition, health care, debt relief, infrastructure upgrades and term limits on the incumbent political leaders who currently hold office. A number of these politicians have received huge amounts of money from special interest groups and corporate lobbyists. Super PACS, which isn't registered as campaign donations, has financed many of these candidates.
Will the Democratic establishment continue to hold onto its political power for the following four decades or will it be replaced by a new institution? No one knows for sure, but one thing is clear. The United States will have two parties, each of which are corrupt. Both parties are to blame for the economic situation now facing America. Hopefully we will see less of during the next two election cycles.
